Overview
The Embassy of Iceland in New Delhi is Iceland's embassy in India, headed by Ambassador Mr. Benedikt Höskuldsson. The embassy is located in the Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave in New Delhi. In addition to its bilateral role with India, the embassy is also accredited to Australia — honorary consulates in Melbourne and Sydney provide local contact points for Icelandic citizens in Australia. Iceland and India cooperate on renewable energy (particularly geothermal), Arctic research, and fisheries.
Consular Services
The embassy provides passport services, identity document processing, civil registrations, notarial services, and emergency consular assistance for Icelandic nationals in India and Australia.

The embassy covers India and is also accredited to Australia. Honorary consulates in Melbourne (HC-General Inga Árnadóttir) and Sydney (HC James Baldvin Douglas) provide local contact for Icelandic citizens in Australia.
