Overview

The Consulate General of Spain in Shanghai serves Spanish citizens and visa applicants in eastern China — covering Shanghai Municipality and the provinces of Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Zhejiang. Located in the Jinmao Tower in the Pudong financial district, the consulate handles Schengen visa processing for Chinese residents of its consular district, passport and citizen services for Spanish nationals, and commercial liaison for the Yangtze River Delta region — one of China's most economically dynamic areas. Shanghai is Spain's most important consular post in China by visa volume.

Visa Services

The consulate processes Schengen visa applications for Chinese residents of Shanghai, Anhui, Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Zhejiang. Visa inquiries: cog.shanghai.vis@maec.es. Appointments required by email with at least two business days' notice.

Consular Services
